From the review, we found that the other students in the class liked the idea of the broken CCTV footage at the beginning of the video and the idea of the alarm clock changing time which was at the beginning of the video too. They also thought the lip syncing was spot on and they felt that their was a good range of shots within the video.
Negatives
From the review, we found that the other students in the class thought that the black outs were too long. They also thought that the story line was unclear and they didn't understand why the main character was being followed.
Response to Review
The group is very appreciative of the positive feedback from the rest of the class. The CCTV footage which was in the film was the exact location we chose to use as the CCTV footage in the film. The alarm clock idea was an idea which was decided on the day of filming. We decided this as a group after we filmed the shots of the main character singing (lip syncing) the song. We had to time this shot with the beat to the music and after looking back at the feedback, it seems like this was a good idea. We tried to get as many shots as possible of the main character being followed in the park which we then used in the video once we edited it. This turned out to be a good idea as you can tell from the positive feedback from the other students. We got a few shots of the main character singing too, which also might have contributed to the positive feedback. However, the group have been discussing whether to do a few more shots because we feel there isn't enough footage or footage that we don't need. This can be reflected when the other students said they didn't like the amount of blackouts were in the film. Also, by doing these extra shots, maybe we can make it clearer to the audience what the story line is, so the audience are interested and engaged.
